So when these eyeshadows first came out, I had no interest in buying them. I was really happy with my Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter eyeshadows and I thought it was the same formula so I told myself that I didn’t need them. That changed when I went to Sephora and swatched these beautiful eyeshadows. Now, I’m obsessed!
The See-Quins Glam Glitter eyeshadow contains 0.12oz of product and retail for $35 (CAN). It is formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates. Marc Jacobs Beauty products are cruelty free. For more information on these lovely eyeshadows, go to Sephora and Marc Jacobs Beauty.
You get a cover on your eyeshadows to keep them from drying out.
These eyeshadows are packed with pigmentation and glitter. When these are swatched, you really get to see the colour combination of glitter that is jam-packed into the formula. Photos can’t do these eyeshadows justice, they just have to be admired in person! See-quins eyeshadows have a creamy formula that is easy to work with and they just glide on to the eyes. I prefer to apply these with my fingers or a thin synthetic brush. They can be combined with cream or liquid products and work beautifully.
I purchased two colours which in my humble opinion are the stand out, must have colours. I hope Marc Jacobs Beauty comes out with more shades of See-Quins eyeshadows!
Topaz Flash – a cool toned taupe with purple, gold and blue glitter.
Copperazzi – a warm copper with gold, pink and red glitter.
Swatches of Copperazzi on top and Topaz Flash on bottom. These eyeshadows are really hard to capture with my camera.
If you are curious about the differences between these eyeshadows and the Hourglass Scattered Glitter eyeshadows, I would say that this formulation is creamier and thicker. The Scattered Light Glitter eyeshadows have a thinner formulation as well as the glitter is more micro. The glitter in the See-quins eyeshadows have a colour story, they are multi-coloured and a bit more vibrant. Personally I love both formulas!
